How to Save AO Scan as a Home Screen Shortcut

Since AO Scan is a web-based app, you can quickly bookmark it to your home screen for easy access, just like a regular app.

iPhone, iPad, & iPod Touch Users

  1. Open the Safari browser on your Apple device.
  2. Navigate to app.aoscan.com.
  3. Tap the Share button (rectangle with an arrow pointing up).
  4. Scroll down and select “Add to Home Screen.”
  5. Name the shortcut “AO Scan” and tap “Add.”
  6. The AO Scan icon will now appear on your home screen.

Android Users (Chrome or Other Browsers)

  1. Open Chrome (or your preferred browser) on your Android device.
  2. Navigate to app.aoscan.com.
  3. Tap the Menu button (three dots in the top-right corner).
  4. Select “Add to Home Screen.”
  5. Enter a name for the shortcut (e.g., “AO Scan”).
  6. Chrome will now create an icon on your home screen.

Now you’re set! Simply tap the AO Scan icon to launch the app like any other installed application.

Troubleshooting Common AO Scan App Issues

Even the most advanced technology can occasionally experience minor connectivity or loading issues. Here are some quick troubleshooting steps to resolve the most common problems.

1. Check Your Internet Connection

  3. Select Clear Cache & Restart App.
