What happens in the hours before you go to sleep may deserve more attention than most of us give it.

That was one of the biggest takeaways from this week’s Solex Nation educational opportunity, which turned the spotlight toward heart health, sleep and the everyday habits that make up an evening routine.

And there was another important piece to the conversation:

How can AO Scan users apply that education using the tools already inside their AO Scan technology?

That is where this week’s training became especially useful.

Deb Bruce walked through practical topics including meal timing, hydration, light exposure, stress, sleep habits and cardiovascular wellness, then moved directly into AO Scan tools including Inner Voice, MindSync, Comprehensive, Body Systems, Vitals and frequency playlists.

For AO Scan Global, this is exactly why we recap these weekly educational opportunities.

Solex Global provides the technology, corporate education and ongoing innovation behind AO Scan. AO Scan Global takes that education another step by breaking it down into practical application, training and continuing education for our global community.

Our educational website and blog are available in 20+ languages, helping AO Scan users around the world continue learning well beyond a single weekly call.

What Was This Week’s AO Scan Training About?

This week’s education centered on a simple idea:

Your nighttime routine is a wellness routine.

Sleep doesn’t exist in isolation.

The timing of food, exposure to light, stress, activity and sleep itself are all part of the body’s circadian environment.

That is not simply a wellness trend. In an August 2026 scientific update, the American Heart Association highlighted time of day as an important biological variable and specifically noted that the timing of sleep, food intake, activity and light exposure can shape cardiometabolic health.

So there is a legitimate reason to pay attention to what happens before your head hits the pillow.

For AO Scan users, the interesting question becomes:

How can we combine sensible lifestyle habits with the educational information and frequency tools already available inside AO Scan?

That is the question we are going to unpack.

And one important distinction before we begin:

AO Scan is not diagnosing your heart.

It is not an ECG, echocardiogram, blood test, blood-pressure monitor or substitute for medical evaluation.

AO Scan provides a different category of information—educational frequency-wellness information that users can observe alongside their other wellness practices.

If you want a deeper explanation of exactly what AO Scan is evaluating when it displays frequencies and Blueprint Frequencies, read our guide to what AO Scan measures.

Why Heart Health and Sleep Belong in the Same Conversation

Sleep has become an increasingly important part of the conventional cardiovascular-health conversation.

The American Heart Association includes sleep among its Life’s Essential 8 measures for cardiovascular health and recommends that most adults aim for approximately seven to nine hours of sleep.

But duration is only part of the picture.

Consistency matters.

Timing matters.

Your nighttime environment matters.

And emerging circadian-health research increasingly looks at when we eat, when we encounter light and how consistent our sleep-wake cycles are—not simply how many hours appear on a sleep tracker.

That makes the evening a particularly interesting time to become more intentional.

Not obsessive.

Not complicated.

Intentional.

And that philosophy fits beautifully with how I teach people to use AO Scan.

I don’t believe that having access to more information means you have to push every button every day.

In fact, one of the most important lessons I teach new AO Scan users is to slow down enough to actually notice patterns.

That’s why I recently wrote an entire guide explaining how often you should really use AO Scan.

An evening routine can work the same way.

You don’t need fifteen gadgets, twelve supplements, six scans and a spreadsheet before bedtime.

Start with the fundamentals.

Then decide which AO Scan tools add useful information or help you create the kind of routine you actually want to maintain.

Evening Tip #1: Give Your Body a Predictable Runway Toward Sleep

One theme running through this week’s education was timing.

When do you stop eating?

When do the screens go away?

When does work end?

When does your brain receive the signal that the active part of the day is over?

A healthy evening routine does not have to happen at exactly the same minute every night, but consistency can matter.

The American Heart Association’s recent circadian-health guidance notes that light, meals and sleep are all cues that interact with our internal biological clocks.

That makes this bigger than simply saying, “I need to go to bed earlier.”

Think of your evening as a transition.

Dim the environment.

Wind down.

Give yourself some separation from the day’s stimulation.

And then, if AO Scan is part of your lifestyle, this is where some of its shorter tools can fit naturally.

Evening Tip #2: Pay Attention to Late-Night Eating

The Solex presentation spent time discussing late-night eating, and there is good reason to include meal timing in this conversation.

Current circadian-health research suggests that meal timing can influence metabolic health and that later or irregular eating patterns are associated with less favorable cardiometabolic outcomes.

That does not mean one midnight snack is going to create a cardiovascular event.

That is exactly the kind of overstatement we want to avoid.

The more useful takeaway is this:

Meal timing is another piece of the circadian puzzle.

If you routinely eat a large meal immediately before bed and you are also working on sleep quality, energy, blood sugar patterns or overall wellness, the timing of that meal may be worth observing.

AO Scan does not replace nutritional science or medical advice.

But AO Scan users already have something many wellness consumers are trying to create:

a habit of observing patterns.

What happens when your routine changes?

What repeats?

What feels different?

What information keeps showing up?

That observational mindset is one of the most useful things you can develop with AO Scan.

Evening Tip #3: Think About Light Before You Think About Sleep

Your phone may be one of the last things you look at before going to sleep.

Mine too, sometimes.

But light exposure is one of the strongest environmental signals involved in circadian timing.

The American Heart Association recommends reducing bright screen exposure near bedtime and notes that blue-rich device light can interfere with the body’s internal clock and melatonin production.

This week’s Solex presentation made the same basic point: what happens before sleep can influence the quality of the nighttime environment you are creating.

We are deliberately not repeating the specific claim from the presentation that blue light increases cardiovascular risk by an exact percentage, because the broader relationship between evening light, circadian rhythm and sleep is well supported without needing to overstate a number.

That is part of what we do at AO Scan Global.

We don’t simply transcribe the weekly call.

We listen, research, add context and help our community understand what the education means in practical terms.

And once the lifestyle foundation is in place, we can get to the really interesting question:

Where Does AO Scan Fit Into an Evening Routine?

There are several tools inside AO Scan that can make sense in an evening wellness routine, but they are not all doing the same thing.

The ones I want to focus on from this week’s education are:

Inner Voice

AO MindSync

Body Systems

Comprehensive

Vitals

Frequency playlists and Homeo-Energetix

And this is where Part 2 gets fun, because instead of simply saying, “Run your AO Scan,” we are going to look at which tool you might choose, what information it provides and how experienced AO Scan users can build a simple nighttime routine without turning bedtime into another job.

Inner Voice: A Simple Place to Start

One of the clearest recommendations in this week’s Solex education was to begin with Inner Voice.

That makes sense to me.

An evening routine should help you transition out of the day—not give you another complicated project to complete before bed.

Inner Voice can be a simple starting point: run the Inner Voice, listen to your tones, and use that time to become still and observant.

The weekly training specifically discussed using Inner Voice in the morning and again before bed, followed by simply relaxing and listening to the resulting tones.

For me, that is an important distinction.

You don’t have to scan everything just because you can.

Sometimes the most useful routine is the one you will actually do consistently.

Inner Voice Evening Idea

Run your Inner Voice.

Listen to the tones through your preferred AO Scan listening method.

Turn off the scrolling.

Turn down the lights.

And give yourself permission to be done with the day.

That creates a very different nighttime environment than checking emails in bed while simultaneously wondering why your brain refuses to shut off.

AO MindSync: What Do You Want Your Mind Focused On?

The next tool highlighted in the training was AO MindSync.

After Inner Voice, MindSync gives users another way to incorporate positive statements and affirmations into their frequency-wellness routine.

And this is where I think the combination becomes interesting.

What are you repeatedly thinking about as you fall asleep?

Everything that didn’t get finished?

Tomorrow’s schedule?

Finances?

A conversation you wish had gone differently?

Or are you intentionally directing your attention toward what you want to reinforce?

The presentation discussed pairing Inner Voice with MindSync affirmations as part of the nighttime routine.

Rather than trying to solve your entire life at 10:30 at night, your evening MindSync might center around simple statements related to peace, gratitude, restoration, confidence or whatever positive state you want to cultivate.

It doesn’t have to be complicated.

Inner Voice helps create the pause. MindSync lets you become intentional about what comes next.

Evening Tip #4: Don’t Take the Whole Day to Bed With You

The Solex presentation also touched on something almost everyone has experienced:

rumination.

You finally lie down and suddenly your brain decides this is the perfect time to review everything that happened today and everything that could possibly happen tomorrow.

The training suggested simple strategies such as writing down tomorrow’s tasks and identifying things that went well during the day.

That is practical advice even without AO Scan.

One simple version:

  1. Write down anything you are afraid you’ll forget tomorrow.
  2. Write down two things that went well today.
  3. Write down two things you’re looking forward to tomorrow.
  4. Close the notebook.

Done.

You’re not pretending responsibilities don’t exist.

You’re simply telling your brain, “I don’t have to keep rehearsing this right now.”

Then Inner Voice or MindSync can become the transition into the next part of your evening.

Comprehensive: When You Want a More Targeted Look

The presentation also discussed using AO Scan Comprehensive when someone wants to explore heart-related frequency information more specifically.

Comprehensive contains a large amount of information, which is one reason I don’t teach people to compulsively chase every item that appears.

Look for context.

Look for patterns.

And remember what the information represents.

AO Scan is comparing frequency-related information within its educational wellness system. A heart-related item appearing in Comprehensive is not equivalent to a cardiologist finding a heart abnormality.

That distinction matters.

You can also learn much more about what those frequency comparisons mean in our guide:

What Does AO Scan Measure? Frequencies, Blueprint Frequencies & Results Explained

/what-does-ao-scan-measure/

If you’re doing a more targeted session rather than a broad Comprehensive Scan, the system also allows users to narrow what they are exploring.

That can make the information much easier to work with than opening a giant report and trying to interpret everything simultaneously.

Body Systems: Explore the Circulatory System

Another tool highlighted in this week’s education was Body Systems, specifically the Circulatory System section.

Body Systems is one of those AO Scan areas that people can overlook because there is simply so much information available in the technology.

The Circulatory section provides educational frequency-wellness information related to that body system along with the additional suggestions and associations presented by the software.

This is where context becomes useful.

Rather than asking:

“What is wrong with my heart?”

A much better AO Scan question is:

“What patterns or wellness information is this system giving me to explore?”

Those are two completely different mindsets.

One turns an educational wellness technology into something it isn’t.

The other uses it for what it can be very good at:

giving you information to notice, explore, learn from and discuss appropriately.

If you haven’t spent much time inside this area yet, read our deeper guide:

The Body Systems Scan Is Packed With Information

/the-body-systems-scan-is-packed-with-information/

Vitals: Useful Information—But Not Hospital Vitals

The training also recommended exploring AO Scan Vitals.

This is another place where language matters.

AO Scan Vitals should not be confused with conventional medical vital signs or diagnostic measurements taken by clinical equipment.

If you need your blood pressure, oxygen saturation, heart rhythm, temperature or another clinical measurement evaluated, use the appropriate medical equipment and healthcare professional.

AO Scan Vitals belongs inside the AO Scan educational frequency-wellness ecosystem.

That doesn’t make the information uninteresting.

It simply keeps us intellectually honest about what category of information we’re looking at.

And that is something we emphasize repeatedly in AO Scan Global training:

Know what the tool is—and know what it isn’t.

Frequency Playlists and Homeo-Energetix

The Solex training went even further into tools users can explore inside the scanner.

Frequency playlists were discussed, including listening options and the newer frequency/noise selections.

The presentation also mentioned Homeo-Energetix and looking at items that may correspond with information appearing in the Comprehensive report.

Again, you do not have to do everything.

Think of AO Scan as a very large toolbox.

The skill isn’t pushing every button.

The skill is learning which tool makes sense for the question you are asking.

That is one of the reasons education matters so much with this technology.

Evening Tip #5: Don’t Change Medication Timing Based on a Wellness Call

There was one point in this week’s presentation that deserves an important update.

The training discussed research suggesting that people taking blood-pressure medication may benefit from moving medication from morning to bedtime.

That should not be interpreted as a general recommendation to move your medication to nighttime.

A large randomized clinical trial published in JAMA in 2025—the BedMed trial—followed 3,357 adults with hypertension for a median of 4.6 years. Bedtime dosing did not reduce death or major cardiovascular events compared with morning dosing.

The practical conclusion is simple:

There is no universal “everyone should take blood-pressure medicine at night” rule.

Medication type, dosing schedule, blood-pressure pattern, other medications, age, fall risk and individual circumstances matter.

If you’re considering changing when you take a prescription medication, that is a conversation for the clinician managing it—not an AO Scan result or a wellness presentation.

Evening Tip #6: There Isn’t One Perfect Sleep Position for Everyone

The call also discussed sleep position and suggested sleeping on the right side.

Here’s where we need some nuance.

Current American Heart Association reporting notes that sleep position can matter in certain circumstances, but the research does not support declaring one position universally best for every person’s heart.

For example, some people with obstructive sleep apnea may experience more breathing disturbances while sleeping flat on their backs, while other medical conditions can influence which position is most comfortable or appropriate.

So rather than turning “sleep on your right side” into another wellness commandment, the better takeaway is:

Notice how you sleep and how you feel.

And if you cannot breathe comfortably while lying flat, have persistent nighttime shortness of breath, significant snoring or suspected sleep apnea, those symptoms deserve appropriate medical evaluation.

Evening Tip #7: Build a Routine You Can Repeat

This is where everything comes together.

You don’t need the world’s most elaborate biohacking nighttime routine.

You need one that works for you.

A Simple AO Scan Evening Routine

1. Create the transition.
Reduce stimulation and give your mind and body a recognizable signal that the active part of the day is ending.

2. Run Inner Voice.
Use it as a quick wellness check-in rather than another performance metric you have to “win.”

3. Listen to your tones.
Put the phone down and actually listen.

4. Add MindSync when appropriate.
Choose positive affirmations or statements that align with what you want to focus on.

5. Use deeper scans intentionally—not automatically.
Body Systems, Comprehensive and Vitals are there when you want additional educational information. They don’t all need to become nightly homework.

6. Explore playlists or other AO Scan frequency tools when they serve the routine.

7. Then stop.

Yes, stop.

Go to sleep.

That might be the most underrated biohack of all.

The American Heart Association continues to include healthy sleep as one of its Life’s Essential 8 components of cardiovascular health, with most adults generally needing seven to nine hours.

And very recent AHA science is widening the conversation beyond sleep duration alone. Timing and regularity matter too, and the timing of sleep, food, activity and light exposure can influence cardiometabolic health.

So perhaps the smartest nighttime optimization isn’t adding another twenty-minute protocol.

Maybe it’s creating enough consistency that your body recognizes:

The day is complete.

What This Week’s Training Really Demonstrated About AO Scan

There is a larger lesson here that goes beyond heart health.

Look at how many different ways the technology could be approached in just one educational conversation:

  • Inner Voice
  • AO MindSync
  • Comprehensive
  • Body Systems
  • Circulatory System
  • Vitals
  • Frequency listening
  • Playlists
  • Homeo-Energetix

That’s why someone can own AO Scan and still only be scratching the surface of what is available.

And that’s exactly why training and community matter.

Solex Global continues to develop the technology, products, official resources and corporate education.

At AO Scan Global, our role is different and complementary.

We help people take all of that information and actually learn how to use it.

We break down the weekly education.

We answer the questions users repeatedly run into.

We connect one part of the scanner to another.

We talk about practical application.

We build continuing education around the technology.

And we make that educational ecosystem available to a global audience, including blog resources in more than 20 languages.

Because owning technology is one thing.

Understanding what you have is where it gets fun.

Around Solex Nation This Week

The weekly call wasn’t only about sleep and heart-health education. Here are the other announcements worth knowing.

August Blue + Gold Promotion

The call reminded viewers that the August Blue + Gold promotion was entering its final days.

Because promotions, qualification requirements and inventory can change, always confirm the current offer inside your replicated Solex storefront before ordering or sharing it with someone else.

Shop AO Scan Global

New Enrollment Incentive

The call also highlighted the August new-enrollment incentive involving Prime with qualifying enrollment.

And looking ahead to September, THINK was announced as the next enrollment incentive associated with qualifying bundle and subscription enrollment.

Again, check the current Solex terms at the time you enroll. Limited promotions are exactly that—limited.

Day of Discovery

Day of Discovery was reported as sold out during the call.

The company said it was exploring whether additional seating might become available and encouraged people still seeking tickets to contact Solex customer support about the waiting list.

That’s a good problem for an event to have.

Community Winners

This week’s community discussion centered around personal growth and the lessons people have learned on their wellness journeys.

Among the ideas shared were:

  • remembering to use Inner Voice and optimize when something feels “off,”
  • recognizing that wellness involves more than food and supplements,
  • paying attention to nervous-system regulation and emotional balance,
  • and using AO Scan as a kind of personal wellness “translator.”

The selected participants received AO Biome.

The call also recognized the week’s top enrollers and continued the tradition of giving AO Scan sample passes that can be shared with others.

This Week’s Solex Question: What’s Your Best Evening Habit?

The question for the coming week is:

What is one evening habit that helps you feel your best?

Three participants are scheduled to win SLEEP.

If you’d like to explore SLEEP directly through our replicated store:

BUY SLEEP:

And I love this week’s question because there isn’t one correct answer.

Maybe it’s prayer.

Maybe it’s putting your phone away.

Maybe it’s gratitude.

Maybe it’s stretching.

Maybe it’s Inner Voice.

Maybe it’s reading.

Maybe it’s getting outside and looking at the actual moon instead of watching somebody else’s moon video on Instagram.

The point is becoming aware of the routines that genuinely help you transition into rest.

Frequently Asked Questions About AO Scan, Sleep and Heart Health

More scanning is not automatically better.

Use the tools intentionally. Inner Voice may fit naturally into a frequent routine, while deeper scans can be used according to your purpose and the way you’ve chosen to work with the technology.

For a more detailed discussion, read:

AO Scan Usage: How Often Should You Really Scan?

/ao-scan-usage/

Should blood-pressure medication be taken at bedtime?

There is no universal evidence-based rule that everyone should move blood-pressure medication to bedtime.

The large BedMed randomized trial found no reduction in major cardiovascular events or death from bedtime rather than morning administration.

Follow the prescribing instructions for your medication and discuss timing changes with the clinician managing it.

Is sleeping on the right side best for heart health?

Not universally.

Sleep position may matter for certain people and conditions, including some people with sleep apnea, but current evidence does not establish right-side sleeping as the single best position for everybody.

Does AO Scan replace medical cardiovascular testing?

No.

AO Scan does not replace blood-pressure measurements, ECGs, electrocardiograms, laboratory testing, imaging, sleep studies or evaluation by qualified healthcare professionals.

It belongs in a different category: educational frequency wellness.
