The term “scalar energy” is used in several different ways across physics, alternative wellness and biofield-device communities. Proposed health-related scalar-wave mechanisms are not currently accepted as established clinical mechanisms in mainstream biomedical science.

A peer-reviewed overview of biofield technologies specifically discussed scalar-wave devices and noted that their proposed biophysical substrates are poorly understood or not generally accepted and that efficacy claims require further verification.

That does not tell us that nothing interesting is happening inside AO Cube.

It tells us something more important.

What Is Actually Inside the AO Cube?

This is where the engineering becomes especially interesting.

According to Solex’s presentation, AO Cube uses six directional coil paths arranged as three opposing pairs:

• Top ↔ Bottom
• Head ↔ Toe
• Side ↔ Side

Solex describes each opposing pair as operating 180 degrees out of phase, creating three intersecting energetic fields inside the Cube. The company’s presentation describes the six paths as working together rather than as six independent outputs.

The Cube also incorporates several components already familiar within the broader AO ecosystem, including coil-based magnetic and induction elements.

Then Solex added light.

Red, Blue and Green Light Inside the AO Cube

The three directional pairs are also associated with specific visible-light wavelengths.

According to the presentation:

• Head-to-toe: red light at approximately 660 nm
• Top-to-bottom: blue light at approximately 470 nm
• Side-to-side: green light at approximately 520 nm

Solex specifically stated that these are lights, not lasers.

That distinction matters.

Red and near-red wavelengths, blue light and green light are all legitimate areas of scientific study. Photobiomodulation research, for example, has investigated how particular wavelengths of light interact with biological tissue.

But evidence supporting a wavelength in one research setting does not automatically establish the effects of an entirely different device that happens to use that wavelength.

So when evaluating AO Cube, it is reasonable to say:

The wavelengths themselves are real and measurable.

What still requires independent investigation is what happens when those wavelengths are combined with AO programming, the Cube’s coil architecture, its proposed scalar configuration and the specific protocols being delivered through the device.

This is another part of the launch that immediately caught my attention.

Solex says the Cube was originally developed around frequency imprinting.

The concept was to place an object inside the Cube and expose it to the programmed energetic environment.

According to the presentation, that concept expanded from imprinting objects to creating a configuration large enough for a person.

But physical placement inside the Cube is not the only proposed method of use.

Solex also described the ability to use AO Scan profiles for remote broadcasting, as well as the ability to imprint frequencies into items such as a disk, watch, ring or water.

That will obviously be one of the more controversial aspects for scientifically minded readers.

Remote energetic broadcasting and informational imprinting are not established medical treatments, and they should not be presented as though mainstream clinical science has already validated those mechanisms.

At the same time, those ideas are not new within radionics, biofield research, homeopathy-inspired technologies and frequency-wellness communities.

AO Cube brings those concepts into one highly integrated piece of equipment.

What Does an AO Cube Session Look Like?

During the demonstration, sessions were described as lasting approximately 33 minutes.

The session itself does not necessarily produce audible sound. Participants were told that headphones were not required for the remote testing that had been performed.

One of the visible indicators that a program is running is the changing activity of the Cube’s lights.

During the presentation, it was explained that individual lights may occasionally appear dimmer, pause or remain illuminated longer as programmed frequencies are routed through the different coils.

That means this is not necessarily an experience where someone should expect to hear, feel or immediately perceive something dramatic.

Some people may report sensations.

Others may feel very little.

And subjective sensation by itself is not evidence that a physiological change has—or has not—occurred.

What Happened During AO Cube Beta Testing?

This is one of the sections where careful wording really matters.

Solex asked Nadia Lutz to participate in beta testing of the technology before its public launch.

The presentation described both in-person and remote participants.

For some of the testing, participants identified a concern, rated it numerically before the session, completed an approximately 33-minute session and then rated it again afterward.

The company reported preliminary observations involving concerns such as pain, digestive issues, fear, anxiety and neurological complaints.

According to the figures presented onstage, roughly 78% to 84% of participants in certain groups reportedly showed improvement, with an average reported reduction of approximately 86% in the self-rated concerns being tracked.

Those numbers sound impressive.

But they need to be understood for what they are.

These were company-reported beta observations, not the results of a published randomized controlled clinical trial.

There was no peer-reviewed publication presented establishing that AO Cube caused those outcomes.

There were also no independently replicated results presented.

That does not make the observations meaningless.

It makes them preliminary.

And that is exactly the kind of distinction I believe responsible wellness education should make.

What About the Glucose and Orthography Results?

The presentation also described a very small number of participants wearing continuous glucose monitors.

Solex reported that three participants showed a substantial decrease in glucose readings during the testing, with the presentation citing a 63% reduction.

Before-and-after orthography images were also discussed.

Those observations are interesting.

They are not sufficient to establish that AO Cube lowers blood glucose, treats metabolic disease or produces a specific therapeutic physiological outcome.

Three people are not a clinical trial.

Continuous glucose measurements can change for many reasons.

Thermographic changes can also occur for multiple physiological and environmental reasons.

What those observations can legitimately do is generate hypotheses.

And hypotheses are where good research begins.

This Is Exactly Why I Want More Research on AO Cube

I would love to see AO Cube investigated using independent measurement.

Not because I expect science to either “prove” or “disprove” the entire field of frequency technology in one study.

That is not how science works.

I want to see individual questions tested.

What happens to measurable physiological variables before and after a standardized AO Cube session?

Are changes reproducible?

Do blinded participants show differences from controls?

Do different programs produce different measurable responses?

Are the effects temporary or persistent?

Does distance affect outcomes when remote sessions are used?

Can any effect attributed to imprinting survive controlled testing?

Those are fascinating questions.

And if a technology is doing something meaningful, good measurement should be its friend.

Where This Leaves the AO Cube Right Now

At launch, we therefore have several different categories of information that should not be mixed together.

We have:

Observable engineering features — six coil paths, three opposing directional pairs, defined light wavelengths and integration with AO Scan software.

We have Solex’s explanation of the proposed mechanism — including scalar fields, energetic imprinting and remote broadcasting.

We have early company-reported beta observations.

And then we have the much larger scientific question:
